Ben Bullock
Ben leads the premiere ferrous trading desk in the world at Flack Capital Markets (FCM) and manages the company’s internal hedging operations as well as risk mitigation and hedging solutions for customers. As part of those solutions, his team provides in-depth, proprietary market research and analysis at a depth that is uncommon in the industry. Ben and his team also publish FGM’s Ferrous Financial Insider Report, a weekly analysis of economic and market factors influencing ferrous metal prices.
In 2020, Ben was invited to present at conferences sponsored by the London Metal Exchange (LME), S&P Platts, and the Association of Steel Distributors (ASD) where he shared insights on the U.S. steel market, futures, and risk management strategies.
Ben began his career as a Market Maker in equity and commodity derivatives in Chicago and spent three years on the floor of both the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and the Chicago Board of Options Exchange (CBOE). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Chicago and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder.
